So what exactly will a Paffy’s technician do to treat my yard for mosquitoes? While each case, each yard is different, the plan of attack on these pests is relatively the same. The technician will start by spraying the perimeter of your property, property lines, and any yard ornamentation along the property edge. Spraying the perimeter will serve as a barrier, a first defense. Next, the technician will spray the high-activity areas of your yard. This includes patios, around the house, around and on any play equipment, etc.

With this spray I won’t have any more mosquito or ticks? Not exactly. The spray kills any mosquitoes and ticks at any stage of life on contact and then acts as a barrier. With the most trafficked areas of your yard sprayed with this defensive shield, the mosquitoes and ticks will be repelled, confused, most likely frustrated, and will seek hosts elsewhere. But, while we wish we could give you a guarantee that you will no longer have mosquitoes or ticks once having our services, that would be misleading.

There are a lot of factors to consider:

Do you have close neighbors?
Are you near a natural body of water?
Do you have a large yard?

Can I Exterminate Ticks and Mosquitos on Neighboring Properties?

Considering these factors can answer a lot of questions and concerns. If you have close neighbors who don’t exterminate for mosquitoes and ticks, oftentimes pests from their yard might just come into your yard whether you like it or not. Unfortunately we can’t exterminate mosquitoes on your entire block, though that would be a game-changer. However, our treatment does greatly increase the level of comfort in your yard. Another factor to consider is if you are near a natural body of water, we can’t spray within a certain distance to that water, per state and federal regulations. This is something to keep in mind when determining the value and effectiveness of our service, and what we can do for you. If you have a large yard, but are only in half of it, getting that half sprayed is more cost-effective for sure.
